My name is Azri Azhar, and I am an economist at a Malaysian statutory body.
For the next several years, I will be returning to school (part-time) to pursue a doctorate degree in economics that focuses specifically on macroeconomics and monetary policy. That probably explains how I got the name for this blog.
Specifically, I am looking to explore further on the theory and application of monetary policy operations at the zero lower bound. This is just the initial phase of the research subject. Therefore it is bound to change once more literature review is done extensively on this subject.
The purpose of this blog is to write down my ideas, thoughts and opinions specifically on the subject. Therefore, you might stumble across jargons or mathematical equations that could spin your head.
